The Hai Bà Trưng School for Organizing is a training program for young Vietnamese American organizers ages 18-35. As a participant, you’ll explore what it means to be a progressive Vietnamese American, learn basic organizing theory and skills, and connect to locals doing social justice work. The training will focus on best practices and challenges unique to working in Vietnamese communities in the United States. The 2018 training will be held from September 7th-9th (Friday-Sunday) in Boston, MA.

We are hoping to raise $8,000 this year to support training costs. These funds will go to providing food, lodging, training materials for participants, and supporting with travel for participants.
