Become an AARW Member
Becoming a member of the Asian American Resource Workshop means joining a multiracial, intergenerational movement of Asian Americans and allies organizing for racial, housing, and immigrant justice across Massachusetts. For more than 45 years, our members are the heart of AARW – they lead campaigns, facilitate conversations, shape strategy, and sustain our work through community and care.
When you become a member, you’re stepping into a multigenerational legacy of organizing, storytelling, and resistance led by our communities. If you identify as part of the pan-Asian diaspora and believe in organizing for justice, AARW wants to be your political and movement home here in the Boston area.
AARW members shape the direction of our organizing through direct decision-making, creating events and educational projects, and committing to an annual donation to sustain our work. Together, our Members:

General Member Spaces
AARW holds Member Meetings nearly every month for our pan-Asian base. These gatherings allow members to deepen relationships with one another, develop organizing skills, and engage directly in AARW campaigns and political education.
Meeting topics and goals change each month, and members are encouraged to take leadership by guiding content and facilitation alongside staff. New members and non-Asian allies are always welcome.

Why Membership Matters
Membership is how we build people power.
It’s how we resist displacement, fight deportations, and imagine new futures together. Your voice and participation make AARW stronger, more connected, and more accountable to our community.
