You’re invited to this month’s AARW member meeting on July 30th! AARW seeks to be a movement home for pan-Asian communities in Greater Boston. Last month we invited members to join us to cultivate and strengthen their deportation defense organizing skills. As we are continuing to confront the escalated violence targeting immigrant and refugee communities, AARW is inviting our members to join us for our next Member Meeting: Deportation Defense Organizing Skills Part 2.

We will guide our members through AARW’s past Southeast Asian deportation defense campaigns with the goal of sharpening our understanding of campaign cycles and tactics used in these campaigns. AARW member and Director of the Massachusetts Bail Fund, janhavi, will also lead members through developing somatic grounding practices and skills that we see as critical to our ability to effectively organize and sustain ourselves for the long-term. New and returning AARW members are welcome, including those who couldn’t make the first workshop!
